I am a research fellow at King's College London, working on the Wellcome Trust-funded project 'But why is that better?' Alongside Alan Cribb and Vikki Entwistle, I am exploring how applied philosophy and ethics can inform and support healthcare quality improvement.

My research interests are varied, spanning moral and political philosophy, but chiefly relate to the philosophy of health and well-being. I like to explore the boundaries between philosophy and other disciplines.

In 2018 I completed my PhD in philosophy at University College London, working on the philosophy of well-being. Before starting my PhD, I managed a national clinical audit commissioned by NHS England.
